RATIFICATION
RATIFICATION
Ratification is understood to mean the producer’s certification of conformity of given vehicle to the production regulations set by the European Community, and thus for vehicles to be used for travel on public roadways.

POLLUTION LIMITS
The parameters for certification of conformity (European Directive 92/61) also include pollution emission, both gas and noise, generally indicated with Euro 1/Euro 2 .... parameters which are progressively more stringent for producers. As these are conformity limits, the European Directive does not in any way preclude the use of vehicles already in circulation.
